This sauce doesn’t waste any time. At first, there is heat, and it comes in like a burst. It is rather intense, but it goes away quickly. The flavor is pretty good too. Not sweet, not “vegetabaly.”
Although the burst of heat dies quickly, it does leave a lingering bit of hotness in the mouth. No bad aftertaste either.
After finishing the burger, the heat altogether died quickly. My stomach was not upset by this sauce. Tomorrow, however….
Overall: This is a pretty good hot sauce sauce. I can see myself putting this on a variety of foods. In fact, for a subsequent meal, I put this sauce on some chili relleno stuffed with cheese on a bed of beef carnitas. It was the best thing ever, as far as I’m concerned. And it has no carbs! Not that I’m against carbs, but its weird how something so good can have no carbs. Anyway, Its right up there with Manwich, carne asada burritos from
Alberto’s Arsenio’s Robertito’s, and hunan chicken from Loon-Wah. If you’re not in the know about those particular items, it sucks to be you.
